Vanessa Albrecht, RN

Vanessa Albrecht

Vanessa Albrecht RN

I have a strong commitment to the nursing profession and have enjoyed working in medical field.  I am currently employed as a registered nurse for the NICU at St. George Regional Medical Center.  I have worked on the NICU floor for over 13 years and have extensive tranining in critical care which includes starting IV's on infants.  From 2015-2017 I worked for St. George Endoscopy part time while continuing to work on the NICU floor.  At endoscopy I performed patient care and started IV's for the procedures.  Before my employment on the NICU floor I was a nurse on the Orthopedic floor.  Previous to nursing I worked at the Intermountain Family Practice as a Medical Assistant for two years at the Medical Surgical and Postpartum floors with Intermountain Health Care.  Although I currently live in Nephi, Utah, I have stayed employed in St. George, Utah because of my love for my job and the people I work with.  My husband is an elementary principal here in Nephi.  I have four wonderful kids who love being active and adventerous with me.  We are outdoors people, sports enthusiasts, and love to try new things.  We ride horses every chance we get and take our dogs along with us.  My goal as a professional is to increase the quality of life of those I treat.  I love to identify with y patients and make sure that they receive high quality care.  I don't know if it's a blessing or a curse but I seem to have what people would call OCD.  This drives me to be a perfectionist but I don't feel like I'm doing my best unless I'm staying busy, being productive and performing to the very best of my ability.  Qualities I'm known for are adventerous, committed, positive, relieable, fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to.  I look forward to meeting and serving you with Advanced Mobile IV Services.
